Research update (June): Survey Data collection

WC4HK is working in close collaboration with the Home Office and the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities to distribute a large-scale survey to thousands of BN(O) Hong Kongers across the UK. 

If you have been selected at random by the Home Office to be part of this survey, you will receive an email from an address ending @notifications.service.gov.uk. 

The Home Office have sent you this survey on the Welcoming Committee’s behalf, using information you supplied when you applied for your visa. This survey is conducted by Welcoming Committee for Hong Kongers, no information on you as an individual will be shared with the Home Office, and whether or not you choose to take part in this survey will have absolutely no impact upon your or any of your dependents’ current immigration status or any future immigration applications. 

The information you give us is protected by law. Your personal information will remain confidential, and any data we publish will not identify you or your household. We will use your data for statistical purposes only, and will act in accordance with the ethical principles set out by the UK Statistics Authority. We will not sell your data on to third parties, and you will not receive junk mail or marketing calls as a result of taking part in this study.
